Anticipation

I'm in one of those moods where it seems that everything is ahead of me. It's exciting and fun and a little frustrating. I'm heading to California tomorrow morning for a meeting with a team of Yahoo developers. I plan on coming home with an official Yahoo tee shirt no matter what! I'll miss David and the kids but this is kind of exciting and it is always fun to travel on someone else's dime.
When I get back, it is the weekend where Sarah is with idiotboy (a.k.a. her father, my ex) so David and I can swing from the rafters if we want to. And I want to. Next week is a short week - I'm only working Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday is the 4th and I'm taking Thursday and Friday off just for fun. I hope David can take the days off too and we can play hookey together.

David and I have picked out our town - Bristol, VT. It has everything we need. I want to live in a small town, know all my neighbors, stroll into the local diner and have the waitress bring over my tea and David's coffee because she knows what we drink already. I want to watch the season change - winter, mud, summer (for 10 minutes) and then Autumn. I won't mind the cold or the snow or the aforementioned mud.
Ok, enough rambling. I have work to do before I get out of here tonight.
