Interesting evening ahead

David and I are having dinner tonight with an old friend of mine and his wife. He is my high school boyfriend, Kenny. I haven't seen him in about 32 years and until he found me on Facebook a few months ago, we had not been in touch in all this time. But he's going to be in the area to settle things with his mom's house and asked to have dinner together. His wife and I have connected on Facebook too and she seems really nice - someone I could have been friends with even if we hadn't met this way.

David is a little freaked out about it but he is coming. I can't understand why he would feel so threatened by meeting someone I haven't seen in so long. But he's got a sense of humor about it now and I think we will have a nice evening.

But man, time flies!!
