Yes, I yanked this from [personal profile] anita_margarita again.   She just has all the best stuff - what can I say?

1. What is your occupation right now? Litigation Support Supervisor is what is says on  my business cards.  Litigation Support Manager is what they should say.

2. What color are your socks right now? I do not wear socks unless the temperature is under 30.  And sometimes not even then.

3. What are you listening to right now? God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Jethro Tull from the Tull Christmas album.

4. What was the last thing that you ate? A very good black plum that spurted all over my lovely red blouse.  Fortunately, it left no stain thanks to my Oxi-Clean Spray-A-Way.  That stuff is miraculous.

5. Can you drive a stick shift? I know I have done this, just not in a really really long time.

6. Last person you spoke to on the phone? David

7. Do you like the person who sent this to you you stole this from? Indeed I do!

8. How old are you today? 50

9. What is your favorite sport to watch? Ice hockey and baseball

10. What is your favorite drink? Iced tea

11. There is no eleven. And why not??

12 Favorite food? Summer fruits

13. What is the last movie you watched?  The Gods Must Be Crazy, which I FINALLY found on DVD!

14. There is apparently no 14, either.  This is a conspiracy.

15. How do you vent anger?  I don't vent.  That's part of my trouble.  One of these days I may explode.

16. What was your favorite toy as a child?  Honestly, I didn't really have a lot of toys.  I had books and records and an uncle who bought me Barbie dolls which I never played with.  I wanted a Lite-Brite which I never got.

17. What is your favorite season? Autumn, hands down.

18. Cherries or Blueberries?  Always, but when in season.

19. Do you want your friends to e-mail you back?  Since this is on my journal, comments are welcome but not required.

20. Who is the most likely to respond? Whoever else is bored today :) - can't argue with [personal profile] anita_margarita's comment.

21. Who is least likely to respond? Probably everyone

22. Living arrangements? My kids: Aaron, almost 20 and Sarah, 16 going on 26 and David, heart of my heart. 3 furry, spoiled rotten cats: Kimba, Charlotte and Thomas, who is still in mourning for his brother Dylan.  I am too.

23. When was the last time you cried?  I shed a few tears on the train on Wednesday reading a very sad story in Newsday about a prison guard and part time bouncer who was killed by a drunken idiot at the bar where he worked.

24. What is on the floor of your closet?  Next question.  Ok, just leave it at: way too much stuff.

25. Who is the friend you have had the longest that you are sending to? Not sending this to anyone, but if [personal profile] cuervolinda reads this, she would be the person on LJ I've known longest.

26. What did you do last night? I had a doctor's appointment and then I went to Target to get my prescriptions filled and then to Abe's Pitaria for a gyro to take home for dinner.  While I ate it, Sarah regaled me with tales of what she'd like to go shopping for tomorrow.

27. What inspires you?  Thinking of my future with David in Vermont.

28. What are you most afraid of?  Dying alone and unloved.

31. Favorite day of the week? Sunday morning.

32. How many provinces/states have you lived in?  Just 1- New York, but I've lived in 5 different towns in NY.

...I'm bored and don't feel like doing any actual work at the moment after having had a marvelous lunch at China Grill.  And because I liked mhaithaca's answers and I know he won't mind if I steal this.

1. What is your favorite song right now? Why?

Rupi's Dance, Ian Anderson - it isn't from a Jethro Tull album, but it is one of his solo works and I am currently madly in love with it.

2. What genre of music makes you the happiest?

O gee, that is so hard to say.  I love so many different kinds of music.  I was raised with just about everything: folk, rock, classical, Broadway, jazz... you name, we heard it.  I guess folk music as a genre makes me happiest though.   It is the music of my roots.

3. What would you name your band and what kind of music would you play?

ERIKAWAK.  We'd play gorgeous acoustic traveling bard music.

4. What is your favorite lyric of all time? Why?

The sounds we make together are the music to the story in your eyes, from The Moody Blues.  David knows.

5. What band/artist could you never live without? Why?

O jeez, don't make me choose!!  Jethro Tull, The Moody Blues, Bruce Springsteen, Harry Chapin, The Beatles, Tom Paxton, Randy Newman, Don McLean, Josh Groban, Steve Winwood, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon (and Simon and Garfunkle), Tom Lehrer - I can't pick just one!!

Ok, if I HAVE to... I guess I could not live without Jethro Tull and The Moody Blues.  Ok, that's 2 and it's as low as I go.
