Wow!  David and I went to see The Moody Blues at Radio City Music Hall last night.  What a show!!  I was worried - I haven't see them in over 10 years and I was concerned that they wouldn't be able to "bring it" anymore, that they would sound bad, be embarrassing, etc.  I needn't have worried.  They were awesome!  I swear that Justin Hayward must have that Dorian Grey thing going on.  The man hardly ages at all and his voice sounds EXACTLY the way it did 40 years ago.  When they performed "Nights in White Satin", he could have been lip-synching to his own performance recorded 40 years ago.

It was fun watching all the aging hippies at the show, similar crowd to the people who were at the Randy Newman show we saw a few weeks ago.  We're all getting older, greyer, paunchier, etc. but we can still rock the house when given the opportunity.

I haven't sang along and screamed and yelled my head off at a concert this much in a long time.  Not even at the Josh Groban concert of a few weeks ago.

We had such a good time.  David has never been to Radio City Music Hall before and I know he was itching to have his camera and take pictures.  It is such a beautiful place and the acoustics were wonderful.

Of course, we didn't get home until the wee hours of the morning and I am paying for it now.  I can't wait to get some sleep!

Only 110 days until the Jethro Tull concert....
