I feel like shit

I just learned that a friend of 20 years passed away.  We'd lost touch in the last couple of years for stupid reasons, but I had no idea he was ill.  I feel like a heel for not reaching out and regaining contact, but we always think there will be more time, don't we.

I promise to do a real post in the next couple of days; I've been remiss and there are new friends to welcome.  

But I just had to say this.

Rest in peace, Michael Schler.  You were a warm, wonderful, creative man and I will miss you very much.
