Pete's Birthday Celebration!

Coming to a PBS channel near you it is the Great Performances program of Pete Seeger's 90th Birthday celebration at Madison Square Garden.  Yes, I was there along with David and many thousands of other people.  If you are in the New York City metropolitan viewing area it will be on Channel 13 this Thursday, July 30th at 8 PM.  It will also be on Saturday, August 1st at 8 PM.

That is really cool. I have another friend (a longtime IRL friend, not LJ) who was there. I'll be looking for you in the crowd when I watch.

Amazing to think I saw him live in 1969 (or so) and he's still going strong!
