Not how I thought the day would go

I'm sitting in an examining room at the ER. Scared. I've been bleeding rather dramatically from a place you shouldn't do that since yesterday.

OK, I don't know if the ER doctor was unusually lax or what but he sent me home.  I have to follow up with my regular doctor for a colonoscopy but he said that my hemoglobin levels were fine, I'm not anemic and I can go.  You don't have to tell me twice!

So thank you thank you thank you to everyone for sending me positive thoughts and energy and hugs.  I am so relieved.

And yes, I will call first thing on Monday and schedule a colonoscopy.
