To June
I just received word of the passing of a dear wonderful woman. June was another mother to me when I needed one, a grandmother to my children at a terribly painful time of our lives. June always seemed young - full of energy, love and life. Always there with a pan of lasagna, a hug or some words of wisdom - whatever was necessary.
June died this morning, at home, surrounded by her family. She was much loved in life and she will be much missed now. I will never forget her and neither will anyone else whose life she touched.
